I love my little boy!

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of blogging, life has been keeping me pretty busy between work, Eli, keeping up with the house (my backyard looks like a jungle--this weekend I will be weeding!), and oh ya working out like a maniac. Life is good though! The weather is just so beautiful right now, it's been in the high 70's and low 80's. Boyd and I took Eli on a "big boy" walk the other day and we were saying how much we love Arizona, its beautiful. Anyway, here's some pics for your enjoyment...

Eli's first "big boy walk"! I took Eli for a walk the other day and decided to try out putting him in the actual stroller instead of the carseat. When he's in the carseat, he can't see much and usually just falls asleep. He LOVED it! He was able to see everything and loved it when I ran (good for me!). He loves to put his feet on the little bar in front and kick his legs around. He's just growing up so fast!

Nike sweat suit. It's so fun opening up Eli's drawer and seeing all sorts of "new" clothes that he hasn't been able to fit into. He doesn't like me to "play dress up" with him, but I do it anyway. I was very excited to see him fit into this outfit from Di and Matt. It is SO fun! It's still a little big, but that's okay. Of course the first day I put it on him, he had a "blowout" all over his new outfit. Thank goodness for Oxy Clean MaxForce--it's like magic!

Colorado Avalanche outfit. Grandpa Mark gave him this cute Avalance sweat suit for Christmas and we tried it on the other day. SO CUTE! He has a Broncos outfit, a Avs outfit, a CU outfit (thanks Sharon!) now we just need a Nuggets and a Rockies one! Haha.

Wiggly boy.... so Eli's sleeping patterns have been pretty funny lately as he is getting bigger and able to move around more. Boyd and I check on him before we go to bed and the other night this is how we found him...

I often want to take his picture when he's asleep because he looks so sweet, but I'm always afraid the flash will wake him up. This however, was so funny that I didn't care if I woke him up (which I didn't).

I don't know if you can tell or not, but his feet are at the very top of the crib.




Hangin' out on Mommy's bed

We've been putting Eli on our bed lately and having him spend some time on his tummy as well as practice sitting up (it's a much softer fall on the bed)

He LOVES stuffed animals! Here he is with his favorite, his doggy. He is giving him kisses (actually just sucking on it, he loves to taste everything).

I love: my mommy and daddy, eating!, grabbing things, putting EVERYTHING in my mouth, holding (and pulling) my mommy's hair, watching Baby Einstein, my exersaucer, giving kisses, big boy walks, looking around, my swing, my doggy stuffed animal, my glow worm, reading books, Mylicon, watching other babies, looking in the mirror, bath time, when my mommy talks silly or in babytalk, watching football with daddy, playing with toys, standing up, sleeping

I dont like: changing my clothes, when I am tired and am trying to fall asleep, when my mommy tries to get boogies out of my nose, being cold, being startled.

I can: hold things in my hands, laugh, smile, bear weight on my legs, sit up on my own, roll from my back to my front (i'm working on the other way around), spit rasberries (a new one!)
