I took the bumpers off Eli's crib the other day because he is moving around a lot, and I notced that he was pulling on them, which isn't good. So now he is able to see out of his crib. Well the other night, Eli's monitor alarm went off. For those of you that aren't familiar with this, Eli has a motion sensor on his crib which detects his movement-- ie breathing. If it does not detect any movement in 20 seconds, an alarm goes off. This is a huge "mind easer" especially since his room is across the hall from ours. I have a reciever that shows that movement is being detected, even when he is in a deep sleep. It does however go off if he has moved to one side of the crib (I need to change the sensitivity on it). So the other night, it went off, and I rushed up to his room only to look in the crib and I didn't see him! A split second later I found him in this position...
The picture isn't very good as it was 1am and I quickly turned the light on to take a pic without the flash (I'm such a mean mom). But his eyes were wide open and he was just staring out of his crib at the door. It was pretty funny.
He has also learned to roll to his tummy so he's even more mobile in his crib, we are always finding him in crazy positions.
