Holy Bloggin Bloggers Batman

The month of April FLEW by! We had lots of fun people come see us and we had so much fun! I can't belive it's May already! Here's what we've been up to...

Besties and Babies
Jayme and Liv came to see us for Liv's first trip!! She did great!! Unfortunately, her and Eli did a little too much smoochin' and he got her sick! :( He had his first cold show up the DAY that they came. It was really a bummer but we still had tons of fun. Us mommies pretty much just worked out and made crafts the whole time while the babies tried to synchronize their napping schedules (it didn't work so they missed each other a lot).
We of course had a little photo shoot. I found coordinating outfits for the babies so we had to get out and get some shots of them. Liv isn't quite sitting up yet (she's 6 weeks younger than Eli) so it was kind of a struggle getting them to be in the right position, maybe we'll get some better luck next time!

This is the best shot that we got of the four of us. Eli was so intrigued by Liv. When they first got to our house and Eli was able to get close to Livy, he started laughing hysterically, he thought she was so funny! She's quite the comic! :)

My baby!

Jayme and Olivia

One of the few good shots of Eli

Oh what a silly head! Eli LOVES to walk around when someone holds his hands. He is so anxious to grow up :(

BIIIIIIG HUG

HEY BABAY

RRRAR!! Livy attacking Eli. This was a rare circumstance as it is usually the other way around. Olivia cried when Eli made "boy" noises. He liked to crawl around and try and kiss her. Maybe when they get together in June, she will be able to fight back!

I love this picture! Jayme kept saying funny things to Olivia to get her to smile so consequently Jayme's mouth was open in all of the pics, but look how cute they look!!!

A true "Olivia" shot with drool hanging off of her chin. She is a waterspout! Very well hydrated!! She's so adorable!!

Probably the best shot of the babies!

Neener neener neener! Olivia sticking her tongue at Eli.

Eli LOVES the camera! Olivia is a little harder to please.

Eli loves touching Liv

We had SO much fun with Jayme and Olivia and we miss them terribly! We can't wait to see them in Colorado in a few weeks!

Pool Man!
Boyd wanted to be adventurous and take Eli in our freezing cold pool. Much to my surprise Eli did not scream or even cry! He didn't really smile though unless of course I took his picture (he likes to have his picture taken). He did like to splash the water and move around with daddy. Every little while he would remember it was cold and grab on to Boyd really really tight. It was so cute! This pic is a little blurry but so cute I had to put it up!

I swore I would never put one of these dorky hats on my children, but when you're a Mom and you worry about everything, you'll do anything to make sure you're precious baby doesn't get a sunburn (especially here in AZ) so... thus a goofy picture! Oh but it's a cute goofy picture! And-- no sunburn!

My little mover man. Eli is EVERYWHERE! I can't keep him in one place. Luckily we have a good area in the upstairs den where I can close all the bedroom doors and put a gate at the top of the stairs and he can just move around. When we're downstairs I have a harder time keeping an eye on him, today I found his little hand in the fake plant stuff (the stuff that is at the bottom like dirt) and of course he had a big handful of it in his mouth--GROSS. I pulled a mommy on him and swiped my finger through his mouth--he didn't like that. Oh well. The downstairs is all tile so he gets a lot of bonkies.
Here he is with all his toys, he LOVES toys! He loves discovering how they work, smacking them as hard as he can against things (i.e. Mommy and Daddy), and he just now figured out that HE is actually the one that controls the sound buttons on his exersaucer it is truly an exciting discovery for him!

I'm so happy Momma!

I really have to watch what I leave around the house (and I swear I don't ALWAYS have laundry around, just when I take pictures!--gosh maybe I do have laundry around a lot, I gotta fix that!) This is how I found him after I had left him for a minute, see the little wrapper on the Love Sac? He was trying to get it (note he's on his tip toes)! He LOVES to climb! He climbs on everything be possibly can. I forsee a few trips to the emergency room in the future...

BIG BOY BATH!!

Eli decided to turn his baby bath into a jungle gym so we moved him into the big boy bath tub (the regular tub). He LOVES it (just like anything else new and exciting). He had a little cold so I put some Vapor bath in his tub which made some bubbles that Eli decided to taste. Here he is with the bubbles on his face, it was so cute!

He loves to crawl around in the bath tub.

Thanks for hangin' in there for this looooooooong post!! Stay tuned for some videos!
