SO YOU CAN'T SAY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN WARNED...I will be switching from Blogger to my own hosted WordPress site soon. If you haven't discovered Word Press and "ditched your blogging training wheels" you should check it out. It isn't for the "faint of techy" but if you spend some time looking into it, you can figure it out. My blog will still be located at http://www.boydandsarah.com/ when I switch over (my blogger site is the current redirect for this domain), I will inform you on blogger incase that is how you access my blog. :) You'll still be able to find my blog no matter what site you go to though, so don't fret!

Today is August 13th, 2009. Today I accomplished:
- Hemmed my sweats that I cut off to be cropped sweats (finally)
- Cleaned out the refridgerator (oh my goodness, there were dead bugs in there--NOT from me, it was like that when I arrived at this house)
- Sewed the hem on Alicia's hospital gown! Yea I hope you like it!
- Thought up an idea to have an annual "Perkins Halloween Bash" here at the house, oh my gosh it's going to be so fun!
- Found costumes to make for Eli (and Hailey if she wants one!)
- Found a costume to make for myself (oooh you'll just have to wait and see what it is! I'm sure half of you could guess and get it right)
- Made lunch (haha not much of an accomplishment, but hey I could've gone out!)
- Made Dinner (mmm Lettuce Wraps! so delish!)
- Washed the red blanked, Eli got Rice Chex all over it
- Fixed my server so that I can now install WordPress
- Followed tutorials to install WordPress, got to know the dashboard
- Tweaked some designing on the Lilac site (the non-profit that Brooks and I are starting, more on that later)
- Tried to keep Eli entertained while doing all of the above
Okay so although I didn't get a run in :( , I still accomplished a few things. Good. Oh yeah and one more thing...
Posted some pictures of the last day of our Seattle trip! (you're welcome mom) More pictures to come (on tomorrow's To-Do list)
No you cannot have my sunglasses, Derek won them fair and square in a round of golf. Good game buddy!

Sounds like you're staying busy! I'll have to get back to you about the Halloween costumes cause I need to check w/ my mom and see if she already bought one for Hailey. That would be so fun to have them wear coordinating outfits! Isn't it crazy Halloween is right around the corner again? It seems like just yesterday we were taking Eli & Hailey to the pumpkin patch for the first time.
You accomplished A ton!!!
Some days, i wonder the same thing "what did i accomplish today" and when i get to thinking (or writing it down) i realize that i did do a lot in a day. Good idea to write it down. Thanks for the pic's; very nice! Love ya!
